Derek Goldstein, Esq. is an experienced attorney who specializes in insurance litigation on behalf of insurance companies, employers and insureds. He is well-versed in all aspects of litigation and has numerous victories in trial and arbitrations. Additionally, he has negotiated settlements in numerous cases over his 9 years of practice.
Prior to the Louis Law Group he was an associate attorney at Quintaros, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he provides all aspects of first-party insurance litigation defense, primarily in the area of property defense. Derek also has valuable experience as an associate attorney at Dutton Law Group, LLC and Rudd and Diamond, LLC, where he provided all aspects of first-party insurance litigation defense, primarily in the area of property defense.
Prior to the Louis Law Group he was an associate attorney at Quintaros, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he provides all aspects of first-party insurance litigation defense, primarily in the area of property defense. He also specialized in bankruptcy and foreclosure law at Phelan, Hallinan, Dimond and Jones.
In addition to his first party experience, Derek has also worked as a general corporate counsel for condominium and homeowner’s associations at Simons Law Group, PLLC. He is a member of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division and the City, County & Local Government Law Member.
Derek has a strong academic background, having earned his Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law in 2014. During his time at law school, he was an active member of the Moot Court Board, the Sports Law Society’s President, and served as the Delta Theta Phi Dean. He competed in the prestigious Tulane Baseball Arbitration Competitor.
