Aaron D. Melamed, Esq. is an experienced attorney with a strong background in Property Insurance claims and Social Security Disability claims. As a litigation attorney at Louis Law Group in Miami, Florida, he represents and counsels homeowners, condominium owners, and mitigation/restoration companies and advises them on their First Party Property cases and claims.
Prior to joining Louis Law Group, Aaron served as the Managing Attorney of the Social Security Disability Division at a full-service law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, he excelled as an advocate for individuals with physical and mental impairments and represented his clients in all aspects of their Social Security Disability claims, including hearings and appeals. He increased the division to over 1,000 active clients and 40 hearings per month in less than 2 years.
Mr. Melamed was born and raised in North Miami Beach, Florida. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University in 2004, while interning at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office – Real Estate Tax Division. Aaron earned his J.D. from Western Michigan University – Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated Cum Laude. During law school, his scholastic achievements included placement on the Honor Roll 5 semesters, Dean’s List 4 semesters, and he received the highest grade in the course for Contracts, Civil Procedure, Research & Writing, Secured Transactions, Bankruptcy Law, and Florida Drunk Driving Law & Practice. He also had the opportunity to work as a judicial intern for 13th Circuit Court Judge Christopher C. Sabella in the felony division.
In his spare time, Aaron enjoys travelling, playing drums, guitar, and piano, and spending time with family and friends.
